Great Management – Property managers are slow to respond, but they have managed my property well and were very prompt when dealing with rent payment problems.
I have worked with a dozen different property managers across the nation over time, and Vivian by far has been the best in every aspect. She always keeps my (owner) interests in mind, extremely responsive, proactive with preventative maintenance and offering suggestions/quotes on what should/could be done, and overall just a pleasure to work with. Thank you Vivian and Tyson!

Horrible Experience – Searched for two months to find the perfect home in the perfect location. Tyson Properties managed (or so they said) the property. Filled out my application, gave them the security deposit, ran credit check and all came back perfect. They instructed me to have the utilities turned on in my name effective my move in date. Terrible! – Don't rent from Tyson Properties! When we had sewage problems they took forever to come by and fix the problem! Then they cited landlord tenant laws that gave them days to do repairs. We were stuck miserable for a long time. We've since moved out and rent from courteous, responsible landlords. Renting from Tyson was one year in hell.
Do NOT Rent From Tyson Properties – I have rented from this company for over a year without one late payment or any problem. Then, I use their online payment service and they take 2 payments out, instead of one. Tyson refunds me the rental payment amount, but not the service fee - 3%, which is ridiculous in itself. They refuse to refund the remainder telling me that it is my fault, not theirs. I don?t think so. These people are crooks.
Business response:
Tyson Properties Inc does not take out payments. The tenant initiates the payment through PayLease. The tenant paid twice and Paylease, not Tyson Proeprties, is paid the 3%. We did not make an error and we did not take the 3%. We are sorry for the error but it was made by the tenant.
Terrible Customer Service – I lived with them for one year and they are terrible. Our roof was leaking since October. it is now June they still have not fixed it. It is impossible to work with these people. When I confronted the owner he didn't even apologize he just blamed the propertey manager. They have some real issues.
Beware of Tyson Properties – After I moved in their attitude changed quickly. When I brought up the fact that their ad for the house was wrong she got vary snappy with me (at this point I was already moved in). Their website list the house as Air Conditioned but it has a swamp cooler. She tried to explain that it is still a form of air conditioning.
