I’ve never experienced a dealership that actually knows and cares about their customers like Tynan’s. Matt and Rachide on the Service side, and Scott in Sales deserve special shout outs for their willingness to go above and beyond to take care of their customers. 100% of the time I would recommend to anyone I know to go with a good, reliable family business like Tynan’s.
Went in for service. Asked for quote on front camera calibration. $600 so I told them not to do it. Picked up car and now front end assist is knocked out and two more warning lights. Asked service manager and he said that can happen when they “run the codes” for recalibration. I reminded him that I told him not to do that. He said he would fix it for $600 and it’s the cheapest in town. It’s not.
Buyer beware! Twice since purchasing 2024 ID.4 the shifter and transmission have failed to go into gear - Drive or Reverse. The car will do a “rollback” - roll forwards or backwards if on an incline - as if it is in Neutral. I had the car towed to Tynan’s after the second failure and rolling into traffic on 8th Ave. Service Dept says they can’t find a problem, there are no issue logs, and no software updates. Don't trust the service department here. They tried to charge me $300 for a repair that was covered under warranty. It's ok, because I took my truck to a different dealership and they fixed the issue, no charge to me!
