Dr. Paul Detwiler is an amazing neurosurgeon. He’s also an incredibly kind man. He’s always got a smile for us & has helped us through one of the most difficult times in our lives. My family & I truly appreciate him. I hope he knows that.
3 years ago I came to Paul Detwiler from out of town because my dad wanted a second opinion on a back issue I was having. I brought in my MRI for him to look at and when he opened it he didn't even take a second to examine the disc (I had a view of the computer and he didn't have access prior to this so he couldn't have seen it beforehand) and he told me I am young and would be fine before referring me to pain management for another issue (that I already had treated to diagnose this issue). 3 years of misery later and I am s... read more
He performed a 5 level Lumbar Laminectomy. Back is doing great with very little lower back pain. Bedside manner not the best, fixed my back issues.
Extremely good neurosurgeon. He has operated on me twice for separate issues and has done an excellent job on both occasions. Those complaining that they only work half days are forgetting that they are in surgery often. The staff is very kind and courteous.
You will not find a worse DR will make you wait months for appointments they will cancel the day before and make you wait months for the next one. Zero bed side manner doesn’t ask questions or care about what you have going on or pain you are in. Just my experience with him. Hope yours is better
