Probably great for date night or friends night out because of the cool vibe, maybe worth checking out if you're in the downtown TAC area and hankering for sushi/etc but don't want to go far. I had an order of spicy Ramen that was really just about average good but i really liked the sides (kimchi and pickled veggies) i got. There was a miscommunication with my take out order that lessened the experience, so be prepared to double check things if you want take out.
Without a doubt one of my favorite restaurants. I always make a reservation. Usually weeks in advance. Unfortunately they gave a ridiculous excuse and said they didn’t have a table but finally came up with a little table in the corner where all the walking traffic is. For me. I go to this restaurant regularly and have for years now. Unexceptionable. Time to look for another Sushi place !!!! Note this is the 2nd time they’ve screwed up on an advance reservation. Food has always been good. But service now seems to be a 1.
Hit or miss at time, the quality is not consistent. On a good day, the sushi is very good.
Tables are sticky, foodd is ok, service is slow
I ate dinner here yesterday - I had the premium nigiri, uni from Hokkaido and Santa Barbara, and old fashioned. I had a good experience there and the waitress was fantastic. Unfortunately, I can't give it 5 stars for the food because I woke up later in the middle of the night with a bad stomach ache.
