I strongly advise avoiding this apartment building at all costs. This is now the second time my car window has been smashed—this time it happened in the underground parking, which is supposed to be secure. I had to pay $450 out of pocket for repairs. Clearly, there is a serious lack of safety and security here. On top of that, the building has ongoing pest issues, including bed bugs and a large number of cockroaches. I previously stayed in this building for a year and I had a great time. I enjoyed availing all the amenities of the place. I felt like I am renting a condo unit with all the offered amenities. Now that I'm looking to move into another place for me and my sister who will join me in some few months, 220 Steeles is my only choice.
