We had a fairly large group, most of whom had never been to Two James before and were unfamiliar with the impressive variety of spirits. Tiffany was gracious and knowledgable, taking time to describe and educate us on everything Two James has to offer. Some of us went with cocktails, others for flights, but we were all very satisfied. I went home with a bottle of 5 year Blackthorn Bourbon, and can't wait to crack it open. We will definitely put this on our list of places to visit whenever we're in Corktown. Thanks, Tiffany!
First of all, the staff was great! Friendly, fast service and attentive. Its pretty loud in here to talk, even though it wasnt very busy, we could hardly hear each other. The drinks however were hit or miss. I went with friends who have been a few times before and they let me know that ahead of time. Sure enough they were right. We ordered 3 drinks 2 of them tasted of straight liquor. The 3rd one was actually good. Never had a bad negroni until I had one here. We've been to Two James twice recently, and had the pleasure of having Tiffany as our bartender. She was knowledgeable about all of the spirits, and made great recommendations. Will absolutely be back! The Espresso Yourself and Painkiller are fantastic!
If you’re at Two James Distillery and Tiffany is behind the bar, you’re in good hands. She absolutely crushed it. From the second we walked in, she was welcoming, knowledgeable, and clearly knew her stuff when it came to the spirits and cocktails. When I told her that I had purchased a bottle of Dr Bird rum local and wasn't too impressed, she was having none of that. She made me a Painkiller with a small twist, and omg! I loved the bartenders here, could talk to them for hours and would come back just for them! The cocktails are made really well here and the only complaint I have is it smells like cigarettes and I think it’s whatever they use to smoke their old fashions bc the person next to us ordered that :/
