definately a great place to eat – i just have to say the people at two guys are great and are putting forth a great effort to keep two guys tradition going.granted they went through a rough patch, but since the new owner took over things seem to be getting back to what it once was. friendly, courteous staff timely service and the food is exceptional and affordable.in these hard economic times two guys is your place to dine.
Don't do it! – By far one of the worst places ever! The GM has the worst people skills I have ever seen. He treats the customers and the wait staff so poorly. He even belittled our server right in front of my table. This girl had been working there for quite some time and was a fantastic server. Between that and what can only be described as a very poor attempt at a "special", I see no reason for me or anyone I know to ever return to this sorry attempt of a restaurant.
Simple and Comforting – I've been going to Two Guys since I was born. Its definitely a staple of Hillborough St. and is frequented by current and former NCSU students. There is nothing incredible or fancy about this place. If you are a food snob take it somewhere else. It is definitely a restaurant that caters to the campus and its a great place to go for some comfort food at a relatively cheap price. The wait staff is not outstanding but they are attentive enough and allow you to eat in peace without trying to chat you up f... read more
Great place – I love this place! I've been to Two Guys several times over the years & I'm never disappointed! There pizza is the best, you can't go wrong. The prices are reasonable, especially with the amount of food you get.
Rudinos rooftop – If you want great pizza come to rudinos rooftop in north raleigh. You cant eat a slice without tons of toppings. Not to mention our beer is super cold. They have every sports packeage possible with a tv on every wall. I cant wait to go back to rudinos rooftop.
best stone pizza and homemade tomato sauces!!! – we tried eating there on july 12, 2008 and were blown away on how good the pizza and spaghetti actually was, this place could use a little curb apeal, but once you eat the pizza you forget about that!!! a large 17 inch pizza with 2 topping was only $15.46, great value for such a quality price. service was ok, this is one of the few mom and pop type places still in downtown raleigh been there 35 years, so they must be doing something right. definitly worth going to eat there.
Avoid at all costs – I ate pizza here once and was very unimpressed. I then decided to give the pasta a shot and, again, was very unimpressed. The service was mediocre at best (no drink refills, never gave us the check, had no recommendations to share) and the meal itself was absolutely terrible. The salad consisted of iceberg lettuce and a splash of onion (tomatoes may have been left out due to health concerns at the time) - nothing else (the dressing was not all that bad, however). The lasagna dish was nothing but cheese a... read more
Best pizza and pasta around in Raleigh – I love this place. I have been going there ever since I was a child and they have the best Spaghetti and Meatballs and their pizza is just out of this world. One large pizza looks as though it could end world hunger and the service is really great.
30 years of the BEST PIZZA in RALEIGH! – I started eating at 2 Guys in 1973 while attending NCSU. The "Penthouse Owen" guys ate there EIGHT nights a week!! There was no cafeteria on campus, so 2 Guys became our college kitchen table. The owners and waitstaff treated us like family. Occasionally after supper, the waitress would treat us to the wonderfull baklava which somehow never appeared on the bill! If you want a great family place with delicious hearty fare at a student friendly price, look no further. After graduation, ... read more
