We had heard good things about this place so we decided to try it when we were in the Plattsburgh area. The crispy spuds were very crunchy and paired well with the honey mustard. The zucchini cakes on the other hand, although good, were not exceptional. We make something quite similar at home which tastes better. The chicken burger was crispy however, the overall taste did not wow us. For years my wife and I stopped by the twisted carrot on our way from NY to Montreal and back. It was as joyous as visiting Montreal. I hate to report that the food has become mediocre and the service questionable. The bread assortment was all stale, the salad overdressed and my favored Reuben was greasy and the slaw withered and unappealing. Used to be a lovely stop. Now a place I'd rather avoid.

I ordered the "Don't Have A Cow" -a zucchini & chickpea burger that came with the dressed house green salad. We also ordered an appetizer "From The Hearth"-platter of toasted bread with herb compound butter. All the food was delicious! The service and server was great! 5
