We have scheduled 3 floats this year so far. Two of them were amazing! The 3rd one we had to reschedule as we were getting ready to float a huge storm rolled through. Twin River's staff were tremendous! They allowed us to wait until we decided it was time to reschedule. They told us we could reschedule anytime, and that is exactly what we did! We booked and showed up early with friends to what we thought was going to be an awesome time, but no! One of the workers tells us it's canceled, after the time we're supposed to take off. Now they're telling us the they emailed us? Yeah I have no email from them saying anything has been canceled. 0/10 would definitely not recommend

Lack of communication from the site about cancelling all floats for the day due to high water. Site then proceeded to put blame on their customers despite never sending a cancellation email. Nothing was posted upon arrival, nothing posted on Facebook and it took way too long to locate someone after we did arrive to find out it was canceled. Staff was rude there and continues to place blame on customers and is rude on their social media. Learned a prime example of why it is worth it to drive a bit more for a better experience. We arrived early (as prescribed in our reservation) to our [previously confirmed by email the night before] appointment to find many other groups of people puzzled and asking each other about staff whereabouts or any indication of organization. Booked a kayak rental and showed up early as requested by the email I received. Showed up to a deserted facility. There was a group of people already there walking around trying to find someone for assistance. After 15 minutes we found a security person who informed us that all activities had been cancelled for the day. Attempted to call the facility only for the phone to continue to ring. booked a float for sunday. arrived early as requested per the listing. several other families there, but no represinitives of the company. we heard much later, that the float was canceled, NO email or any other notification other than a random person on a 4 wheeler telling the person closest to the entrance that the float was canceled. I came from out of state to float today. your lack of communication puts a severe damper on my weekend activities. Im not in St Louis often, But i will not be back here.
