I truly appreciate the level of care I received in the ED this morning after breaking my ankle. From the receptionist to the X-ray tech, triage nurse, Chris RN, and Megan NP— every single person showed kindness, patience, and genuine compassion. You can feel when people truly care, and this team does. So grateful for a hospital that treats you like they would their own family when you need it most.
I had to have lab work done and a chest xray the staff was so nice and very personable, especially Breanna.
The nurses and most of the physicians at the hospital are wonderful however leadership and administration leave a lot to be desired this Hospital needs a lot of help.
Was transported to the ER on 2/9/26 due to dehydration, weakness, and fainting. After receiving fluids my vitals still would not stabilize. I was sent for a CT scan with contrast. The test revealed blood clots in both lungs. The physician ordered the maximum dose of the medicine referred to as the "clotbuster" and I was airlifted to Forsyth Hospital. The quick decisive action taken by TCRH staff saved my life, and I have made a full recovery. Thanks to everyone at TCRH for the care I received.
This is the worst hospital in Southwest Virginia. My wife went there with an allergic reaction and they said "Oh, it's not bad enough for an epipen." And sent her out! We had went to Wythe Community Hospital the night before when she had one and they rushed her in and gave her an epipen immediately! No wonder this hospital has the reputation of "You don't go there to get better, you go there to die!" If I could give it zero stars I would!
