I fell and broke both bones in my forearm. I went to Twin Cities Orthopedics Urgent Care on Thursday, August 28th at 3 pm. I was seen within 10 minutes. They did X-rays and I saw the doctor right after. He confirmed I had broken bone bones and splinted me. I was to return within 5 days to see Dr. Bhatt, ( a hand specialist). The staff members were amazing. The doctor took the time to go over the X-rays with me and showed me where the breaks were in my arm. The whole thing from start to finish took an hour. Almost a year ago, I underwent hip surgery with Doctor Larson, but unfortunately, my hip is in worse shape now, feeling more stiff. The recovery process has been quite frustrating, especially since multiple appointments with Doctor Larson and the Physical Therapy Department have been canceled on their end. I had an injury to my knee from a large Dog jumping up on me and hitting my knee with his paws. I saw a young PA that indicated my injury wasn’t broken bones ( from xrays) but could be ripped or stretched tendons. He indicated that I was too old for the expense of further testing or even surgery if the further exams indicated. Insurance Companies don’t want to spend money on something that will help for possibly a few years. All depends how long I live. I left with no hope of being rid of the pain. He told me to take asprin ... read more

Dr Cooper and staff have been the most helpful in planning my TKR! I have had other encounters with TCO providers on this issue that were not very helpful....but Dr Cooper and staff adjusted their protocols to my unique needs...I am very grateful for him and staff to listening to the patient outside of chart and adjusting. Thank You TCO and Dr Cooper and staff including PA April for hearing my needs outside the box! I would recommend TCO for any Ortho needs!
