My friends and I frequently visit tea rooms. They traveled to Charleston to visit me for my birthday and we booked a tea date. The food was beautiful and delicious. I will say that the tea room itself was fairly small compared to others I have visited, but accomodated our party of five and two other small tables. You can pick what teas you want from local Charleston Plantation. AMAZING food and the dessert was on point! Mini sandwiches, soups, all kinds of treats and jams. I can not wait to go back!! Definitely revisiting as we all had such a great time!!
Highly recommend! This charming tea room is a hidden gem. Everything was delicious! We especially enjoyed the vanilla bean scones as well as the basil chicken salad finger sandwiches! The key lime mini pie was truly a little bite of heaven!
We had my daughter’s shower here. Jenn did a great job with the food and tea. Everything was delicious and there was a large selection of the fabulous Charleston tea to choose from. Divine, indeed! Had a lovely time - Jen was a wonderful host and the food was amazing!
Although the food and tea were good when it finally arrived to our table it doesn't make up for the very, very slow service we received. Our group of 3 had reservations for 3pm last Friday. It took her literally 30 mins to bring us a glass of water! After another 30 mins finally she brought out the tea and food. Would disappear for 15 to 20 mins at a time. Only 2 other tables in the small cramped dining room, so not sure why such a long wait the entire time we were there. Definitely needs improvement on service skills.
