First time great. Second time still great. Great food, terrific staff and prices were reasonable.
Worst fish and chips ever. It consisted of two over cooked frozen fish fillets that were extremely dry and with a texture that can only be described as hard. We also ordered Baked Schrod and got baked stuffed schrod instead. The schrod was also unbelievably over cooked and dry, Half the green beans were old and grey mixed with a few fresh beans. We informed the manager about the schrod and he offered to take the meal off the bill but added a charge for the salad that came with the meal. The salad was a small lump of iceberg.... read more
I noticed a negative comment on Tweets Special (White). It is the tastiest dish I have had at Tweets. Sometimes it does require a dash of salt. Better to add a little; you cant take it away.
My husband grew up eating here with his family and everytime we visit RI we have to go here. The best steamed clams ever!! We had a birthday party for our granddaughter with 18 people and we spent just a little over \$200 and really ate well. The staff is wonderful and the owners are always on site. Great family restaurant with family stile dining a gigantic bowl of pasta was like \$15 and feeds alot.
We eat at Tweets everytime we visit family in RI. We even had them host & cater a family reunion for us. Delicious food and portions. Looking forward to my next visit.
I do not reccommend Tweets. I had the tweets special spahgetti with white sauce, shrimp, scallops and littlenecks. I dumped half a jar of parmesan cheese on it and it was still blah tasting. The seafood was tough, tiny pieces of shrimp. My friend had the red sauce spahgetti which was just as bad. Do not go to this restaurant
Best Italian Foor Ever – Years ago my dad met Tweet Balzano on a fishing boat in Plymouth MA. He invited our family to come to his restaurant. That visit began a love affair that has lasted all of these years. Fram Mount Hope Ave. to the Inn (sorry forgot the name) and back to Mount Hope Ave. The food is outstanding as is the atmosphere! Tweet's will always be a favorite for us and our friends to come.
The best family style Italian and Seafood restaurant in RI – I take the drive from Providence to Bristol at least 3 times a month to taste some of the most amazing italian food in RI. My wife and I are 28, and we have made it a goal to try every meal on this menu. So far, I have been extremely pleased. One of the best places around ! Try the baked Stuffed Scrod Portions are huge and the prices are great !! A Must Try ! Worth the Drive ! 100% better then I expected !
