I have been getting oil from Tuxis for about 3 years now. Oil deliveries are great, servicing my furnace is great. What i am not happy about is i gave my credit card number to your office to have processed right away. And they refuse to do so, they insist on waiting 10 business days !!!!! I gave my credit card number NOT FOR THEM TO WAIT 10 BUSINESS DAYS.
We were almost killed by an OHR oil truck on Hatchets Hill in Old Lyme Speed limit is 20 truck was going at least 40 and on my side of the road. Very Reckless, It was Sunday, 12/28/25 at 130 pm . If this business gives a shit about safety they will address this shameful and dangerous behavior. Pat Holland No response from the owner, shows they don’t care about safety

New customer, I measured my tank ,filled right on the money. I will miss Ernie Owner, Advanced Oil (Independent oil man) 10 Stars. I read all the reviews. It is good the owner of Tuxis Ohrs Fuel reads and response. I change Doctors more than my Oilman. HVAC/R S2 Retired Rack Systems ,Hi Med Low, Roof Top Units and grumpy store managers. will keep you all Posted. ;-)
Tunxis Oil is a complete mess. They charged us for a burner startup that they never even did. On top of that, they were late twice delivering oil—in the middle of winter. Totally unacceptable. The customer service is beyond awful. My pregnant girlfriend was treated with zero respect, and every time we called, we got the runaround. No one had a clue what was going on, and no one took responsibility. It’s like they’re just making things up as they go. Now there credit guy is out on “vacation” and no one else can figure it out.... read more
