Tunxis Oil is a complete mess. They charged us for a burner startup that they never even did. On top of that, they were late twice delivering oil—in the middle of winter. Totally unacceptable. The customer service is beyond awful. My pregnant girlfriend was treated with zero respect, and every time we called, we got the runaround. No one had a clue what was going on, and no one took responsibility. It’s like they’re just making things up as they go. The company delivered oil to my house by mistake. I’ve never used them before they are not my oil company. When I confronted the delivery driver his response was to stop the pump and go to my neighbors house and pump the remainder. I understand accidents happen, called the company and explained the incident. Two weeks later, I receive a bill in the mail requesting me to pay for the oil they pumped into my house without my permission. We had been using this company for thirty years and were thrilled with them until the owner passed away and eventually the company was sold. Not sure when the new owners took over but this is not the honest family owned business it once was. They came three times in a month. The final time regarded the hot water in the shower and the tech “fixed” the problem only for us to find it was much much worse. Unbearably cold water in both showers now. Dont recamend put in wrong size part won’t even return phone calls. They have a couple good techs but not all of them are trained and rude! There is a reason why the average stars are 3.3
