Great place for hummus, pickles, and happy hour.
Won't.be.back.ever. Food was good. Management was rude, unprofessional, unpleasant, unreasonable, and made me feel uncomfortable. What was a dining celebration for a special occasion was soured by the manager's, Gary, inappropriate handling of a situation that he caused to get blown out of proportion. A little tact and professionalism would have gotten the same outcome without the significant ill will Gary alone created. There is NO excuse, full stop.
Terrific food. Great service. Very fun to eat family style. Labneh was excellent. Falafel not to be missed. And great pickled vegetables.
I have been coming to Tusk for years and after the way my family and myself were treated today, I will never be back. I am still appalled at the way we were spoken to. I emailed ahead of time to make sure my reservation was good for 8 people, and discussed that we would have a child and an infant with us. This was confirmed by management with no issue. We ordered half the menu and the gignate beans were good, everything else was great, the lamb, trout, carrots, peas, halumi.
