So, lets face it... NYC-no shortage of amazing dentists. Unfortunately, mine was on leave during a dental issue, and was referred to this one. Incredibly rude, condescending, and sanctimonious office manager who the dentist hides behind. Unable to confront his own patients, he uses this woman to spew insulting, unwelcome, and unethical news...Do yourself a favor, and skip this office...he has an amazing dental assistant, but not enough to deal with the outer sanctum, or a guy who refuses to nut up, and speak for himself. Rip off artists – I was referred to this dentist through 1-800-Dentist. This guy is a con artist and that's an understatement. I had a cavity, which another dentist had confirmed already. Dr. Tushman starts drilling...and he doesn't stop. He's drilling and drilling and drilling, then all of a sudden he says "Gee, how did that happen?". I asked what? Dr. Tushman is the best! – I've been seeing Dr. Tushman for years and he's great! Highly recommended. They always find a way to fit me in for a cleaning.

High Cost for Rude Service – The office manager for this dentist is rude beyond belief, extremely unprofessional and seems very vested in having an appointment become as unpleasant an experience as possible. Despite the fact that I had been a regular patient in the past, she found every reason imaginable to cancel an appointment recently made for a cleaning and check-up. Unexpected dental fees and rude office manager – This place is flawed with an unreliable system in how they bill you. They quote you one price for a dental procedure, only to catch you off guard by charging you a lot more than expected by the time you walk out. A warning would be nice. The fees were not even in the same ballpark, and it happened to me TWICE. (The first time I gave them the benefit of the doubt.) Truthfully, its not about the $ so much, its about principle. Personable, calm, trustworthy dentist! – I was sent to Dr. Tushman by a coworker. I have a hard time finding a decent dentist, and because I'm very cavity prone, it's important to me that I find an excellent dentist. In recent years I seem to find the kind of dentists who just rush around b/c they overbook. How rude! Dr. Tushman has a steady flow of clients, but it never becomes a wait.
