What a pleasant surprise to find this EXCELLENT restaurant. Traditional Italian food items were exemplary. Service was better than good. Well ... they started taking shortcuts, and the food quality declined. The managers stayed in the bar, drinks in hand. The place remained unclean all the time. It became a hangout for bar flies. Customers were offended, and did not return. Another good business that failed because of alcohol culture addiction. Sad.
The food and wait staff were always excellent! We ordered pizza (for pick-up) ALL the time, and it was always the best. Great atmosphere, great service, great food.
Just order the pizza, with cheese or pepperoni, and you'll be happy...Some of the other food was just okay, like the eggplant parm sandwich, but the pizza is very good. I've ordered it about 8 times, and several times it was as good as Nj pizza, and as a Nj native, that's saying something.
