Our family experience has been very disappointing! My son is disabled and Need assistance due to his mental illness. I applied for him housing November 21 2023. Be careful these people are stealing money. They are paying and taking the money back to try and cover themselves. They have been reported to the department of housing and urban development office of inspector general. The local news have been contacted as well.
Why is the air conditioning not working in some of these places by and behind Stillman. This is beyond sad!!! I thought Tuscaloosa was a city that cared. It seems if you don't go to the University they don't care about you!!! Fix it please!!! People are suffering!!!
My reason for 3 stars is that criminals working in the Tuscaloosa Housing Authority and it really says bad business cause criminals shouldn't be working in places like when my mom Lula Mae Burden 511-A 61st Street were living in branscomb Apt sometimes she would have to pay her rent twice cause the money order never showed or it were tooken for whatever reason well people don't have to try to change my wording I gave honest view of the situation and I ain't trying to take over Ms Burns job so leave it alone
