We had a group of 8, and my friend handled the booking. We paid $750 and got a confirmation email plus a really detailed message the night before with directions and info. But when we showed up, Turtle Tubing was nowhere to be found. Luckily, Sage Outdoor Adventures was right at Dotsero Landing and saved the day. They set us up with a raft quickly, and we still had an awesome time on the river. Honestly, I’d suggest going straight to Sage instead. Buyer beware. This company takes your reservation and money and then leaves you high and dry. We booked a buyout for 30 people. We tried leaving messages, emails, LinkedIn and Instagram messages and not one person responded. They canceled the event a few hours before the event. Luckily we had read recent reviews and made alternate plans but I still have not received my money back and will be disputing with the bank. Do not use this company. They are crooks.
Turtle tubing hasn’t showed up once this summer according to another tubing/rafting company nearby. No communication, completely ghosted, kept our money and didn’t show up. Had to reschedule with the other company and wait. Don’t book here :’(( unreliable
Sadly had the same experience as the other recent reviews. Booked a float for 8 people, was charged $750, received confirmation email when I booked as well as another very detailed email the night before our float with driving directions etc. needless to say, Turtle tubing never showed. Luckily, Sage Outdoor Adventures was right there at Dorsero Landing. They got us set up on with raft right away and we still enjoyed a great day on the river. Do not use this business. Booked a trip in June, 2025. Received a confirmation email Monday July 7 with launch site instructions. Went to the launch site as scheduled for Wednesday July 9. Waited for 30 minutes they did not show. We did receive a bank notice Wednesday morning with a card credit from TT. However no call from them. We called them 5x, no answer, no return calls.
