When Peter Tierney and Michael Moore opened the Turtle Club in 1999 on the grounds of the Vanderbilt Beach Resort, they completely changed the landscape of waterfront dining in Naples. Focusing on fresh seafood and fine steaks and chops served in a spectacular beachfront setting, the restaurant quickly became a favorite “secret spot” for local Neapolitans. No longer did exclusive national hotels or private clubs dominate fine waterfront dining.

I posted this already and it has not appeared. But my favorite restaurant in Naples must have changed chefs. The lobster bisque was bland, too thick, with overcooked bits of fish. The seafood feast had unidentifiable tasteless fish without sauce and rubbery lobster. The expensive pinot noir and creme brûlée were reliably good as was the sunset. Get the old chef back please!

Went for lunch and sat outside on the beach. Staff was on point! Food, drinks, staff everything was absolutely phenomenal and delicious. Highly recommend!!
Amazing food, amazing bartenders, staff and ambiance! The food and drink were beyond expectation. We went when it was extremely busy and the place functioned like a well oiled machine. Management has the right players in the right places. Very nice and highly recommend!
