Chef Ian delivers intellect, passion and a philosophical approach to his cooking that translates into his ability to build distinct menu items using honest, simple ingredients. He may often be found perusing Minneapolis farmers markets and working with local purveyors in his quest to bring seasonal, fresh and local creations to Tosca’s menu, while simultaneously perfecting the favorite dishes that keep Tosca’s guests coming back.

This Linden Hills gourmet shop bursts with bread and other culinary delights. – In Short Go for the bread--the chocolate bread and the rosemary-olive levain are especially delightful--and stay for the organic pastas, posh pâtés and other goodies. The store has a selection of teas and tea paraphernalia that will satisfy even the most persnickety Anglophile. After you've unloaded your wallet, sit down at the deli and feast on sandwiches, soups and salads.
Horrible Mocha – I have heard many good things about their sandwiches and pastries, although I have never had anything to eat there I have had the unfortunate experience of having a mocha from their establishment. Let me just say that it was absolutely, without a doubt the worst mocha I have ever had. I must add that the sandwiches I saw in the display case did look very good, I will go back to try one of those - but never, ever again will I order coffee.
