cheap happy hour – This place has great happy hours, especially the $1 drafts on wednesdays. Outside of happy hour, it's not a place i'd really bother going. I don't know what one poster was talking about when he mentioned the women - the numbers and quality are subpar. The staff has always been cordial to me.

Great after work spot – Our office always heads down to Turtle Bay for drinks. Great staff- two floors, tunes and food. We always have a good time. Solid hang out bar for after work

Visited this bar last friday – I must say BLAH.. Went friday about 1030PM...full of obnoxious, snotty, drunken folks...Bouncers must keep these people in check. Bouncers at the door were rude thinking this is a velvet rope establishment. Drinks were either over done or under done...

I LOVE THIS PLACE – I think that Turtle Bay is a great local bar and restaurant. I come here regularly to hook up with my friends for drinks. When my family is in town, I bring them here for lunch. The daytime bartender is awesome. He's friendly and mixes a perfect cosmo. He also plays great music. The food is really good, in fact, surprisingly so for what I initially thought was just a bar. It comes out fast and the wait staff is very good. I always go during the day. Cocktail hour is fun, too. The crowd is a vey nice mix o... read more

Never, never again... – It's a shame a fairly decent bar can be completely ruined by horrible service. The bouncer was COMPLETELY rude and out of line. He was literally screaming in my face because I had a hat on my head for 10 seconds (I'm female, and they apparently have a no hat policy). He was furious that I questioned him. I will never in my life return to this place. There much better bars in the area to chose from.

Horrible Experience – Turtle Bay plays host to college football fans from everywhere on Saturday. Sadly, the service staff are completely rude about accomodating games for everyone, even when there is the same game on two TV's next to each other. The fight isn't worth it. Secondly, the service at Turtle Bay is awful, awful, awful!! Forget about having a beer in one hand and a wing in the other. We got so frustrated with our waitress, who stopped by twice over the course of 2 1/2 hours, that we had to order everything from th... read more

Drunkeness – Fun place... It gets a bit crowded but the bartenders are friendly, women are good looking and you've got a good chance at a buy-back every three rounds - overall a fun place to hang out and tie a load on.

nice place, but rude bouncers – like the atmosphere of the upstairs bar...high ceilings, fireplace, spacious rooms, cozy couches and nooks. friendly bartenders...just a MAJOR disappointment in the attitudes of the bouncers at the door. there is no need to give attitude to the group who is holding a private party in the upstairs room - we are bringing you business! overall an ok place

GO UPSTAIRS!!! The 2nd floor bar/lounge with 3rd floor catwalk lounge is easily the most impressive space one can find along the East Side 2nd Ave strip. There is a long bar area wide enough to accommodate large crowds, large screen tv's on the walls to view games, but not that do not dominate the atmosphere, and up front there is a large lounge are with several booths and a working fireplace. This is a great spot for drinking, dancing, and hooking-up. The dj booth is perched high above the lounge and the brick walls accentu... read more
