While I was visiting California, someone hit my Turo rental and parked on it. Despite contacting the police and following the owner’s instructions to document and upload the incident to the app, Turo filed a claim against my personal insurance—even though I purchased their premier protection plan. Great experience with this car! Will rent again!
They cancelled my rental 2 hours before my trip, and refused to connect me to "resolution" only letting me know I'll "be contacted within 24 hours." That doesn't help me, I reserved this vehicle weeks ago, very unprofessional, and now I'm losing out on tons of $$ because of a new last minute rental ELSEWHERE
Avoid Turo at ALL costs. They added a $120 "delivery fee" and a $31 "airport fee" that actually doubled the price of my rental. Super shady and excessive fees.
So easy and convenient! They dropped off the car at my hotel and picked it up from there too.when you weigh the convenience against multiple U er trips, Turo is only slightly more expensive. Great value!
