Some staff were there for paychecks, there were many staff members that were genuine, and wanted to help. I miss this place, I miss my friends and I really miss some of the staff. There were some violent staff members there but violent residents. The staff members were not even violent. But when you are trying to restrain a 6'4 kid throwing haymakers, lead staff to protect themselves. But I do remember a few time where kids were restrained with a unnecessary amount of force. Man seeing this place close is a biggest closer I will ever have . I was here from 2006 til early 2009 . 4 years I spent here . Let me just start by saying some of the staff was cool and then you had the tough guy staff who when restraining you hit and kicked me . I was locked in what they called the bmr in was a small space with a metal or titanium door with the little window and a camera . I'm not surprised tpyc closed . It was super bad when I was there I can only imagine how bad it got after I left .
