Overall, I had a pleasant visit. The nurse and the psychiatrist I met with heard me out and made me feel really comfortable and safe. Unfortunately, the address has not been updated and I had traveled to the wrong location. I would have appreciated if they would have confirmed the address when they call to confirm the appointment. don't ever come here. i told the psychiatrist (harvey) i was having hallucinations and she told me it was 'anxiety' and would not listen to anything. she told me i could not talk to her about my mental state because she is 'not my therapist' and 'i'm just here to give medicine. talk to this with your therapist.' when this place would not give me a real therapist. when her medicine made me worse, she said 'it's not the medication. talk to it with your therapist.' absolutely ridiculous. don't ever come here if you're looking f... read more
It is a great place to get help. They have therapists, psychiatrists(Dr), case workers to help put the you in contact with people who can help. They have nice secretarys, therapists, caseworkers, and Drs. There is a phone at the end of the computers in the human Services building. Pic it up and ask for an appointment or if someone can come out and talk to you about their services.
