Turnbridge's treatments are good but overpriced. When it comes to money everything is an additional fee. If your child leaves Turnbridge on their own will there is absolutely no refund even if the stay is very short. That is just highway robbery.

This was the worst place ever for my 16 year old grandson. He got a hold of broken glass under their care and cut his wrist . He let the staff know about him wanting to self harm, it fell upon deaf ears. No one checked on him. When he finally got someone to come in his room to check on him , he could have been dead. These people have no business being in business. Incompetent staff should be fired and it should be closed down permanently.

My daughter was being verbally abused by another patient at Turnbridge. She reported the bullying to staff who conducted mediations. During the mediations the bully would apologize and state she would do better, only to continue with the bullying after the mediation. They also had just changed my daughters medications and she was reporting that the medications were making emotional regulation difficult. Turnbridge is very understaffed. First of all, I didn't choose this place- my ex-husband did and I was court-ordered to agree with it. I am not sure what help is provided here or for what. Our son's overall mental health declined significantly during his time here and it basically seems like a boarding house for boys whose parents don't know what to do with them.
