I loved reading the reviews here and found it fascinating how they contradicted each other. TKSMITH complains that Turn-Key is trying to find a renter for a property that the owner refuses to fix up and Homeowner5982 is complaining that they didn't want to make the improvements to a home they wanted Turn-Key to rent out! Such is the life of a property manager. The homeowners wants them to rent out the home without spending a dime and the renters want to rent the Taj Mahal for $50 a month!

I was very dissatisfied with the ethics of this company. They only seem to care about their own personal gain and make no effort to help their customers. They tried to get us to pay ridiculously high prices to live in a dump that didn't even comply with their own standards they set in their rental agreement. The house smelled like mold, the carpets looked 50 years old, and the kitchen looked like a bad mod podge job. I would give these people a negative if i could. I am a home owner who decided to retire and put my home with a property manager. I had to give turn key $250 to do a home inspection. They told me to replace a few window screens and put a down spout on the water heater, let me remind u this is a month before my move out date to move cross country. They rented my properties fast and helped me buy – I have purchased several properties in the Kansas City area. Turn-Key was very knowledgable and helpful. the other company I had seemed unable to lease my buildings, but Turn-Key had them all leased in a few months.
