This is something different to do if you are vacationing in the Lancaster area. You can learn all about the entire process that goes into making ice cream- things like how the cows stomach works, our sense of smell and taste, milking cows, history of milk bottle delivery, bacteria, etc. Then you go through steps of making your own custom flavor, designing the packaging, filming a commercial, etc. It was rather crowded when we were there, and there wasn't much for real young kids. Kids had a great time! Loved the idea of mixing your own flavor, naming it, designing a carton and creating a commercial!
it was kinda confusing. especially trying to find classroom C. I could handle all the rude customers .
Endless ice cream and tea tastings. Fun for the kids and they can learn something too.
Was very disappointed in our experience today. It was so busy that it turned out to be a waste of our $40. Our kids could barely see or do any of the experience because of how packed it was. This was after we called ahead and drove 45 min out of the way to check it out. Never again.
We had a blast, especially the taste lab experience making our own ice cream! Get there early and reserve online!

I took my two kids (10 and � yesterday and we had a great time. We did the experience as well as created new ice cream flavors in the lab. There were plenty of fun interactive exhibits. They really liked filming their own TH commercial. Very reasonable cost for 2-2.5 hours spent there. Definitely recommend.
