Was in town conducting a mediation and decided to stop in. The spinach, tomato quiche was outstanding, the salad was fresh and delicious and the service was impeccable. I’ll definitely tell all my family and friends.
Great quiches and scones. Good coffee. Atmosphere is interesting. A good place to start your day trip in Monticello.
My wife and I passed thru Monticello yesterday on our way back to Ocala and stopped at Tupelo’s for lunch after a friend recommended it. I cannot say enough good about this place! My wife had the TAB and I had grilled cheese with tomato and spinach; incredible!!! My only regret is that we live 150 miles from there or I would eat there daily!! Nuff said!!!!
Although a seemingly small and quaint cafe in a small town, Tupelo's packs a flavorful punch! I stopped in while waiting for an architectural tour of the local sites and tried out a blueberry scone and coffee. Simply the best scone I have ever had! You can taste the fresh berries and the pastry just crumbles apart in your hands. It seems that I will have to make another trip back to Monticello soon!
