Great lunch menu with lots of variety! Chicken BLT is easily one of the best fried chicken sandwiches I've ever had. Great, extensive beer list too.
Now this is what I call Southern cooking! It's Mountain South to be exact. The menu is flawless! The worst of my experience was finding an entree and room for more food. I found most items to be somewhat affordable for its creativity, and there are no ridiculously high a la carte sides. The waitress was attentive and recognized the menu. Tupelo Honey Cafe never disappoints! Mind you, there are tons of people clamoring to get in the doors, so you might have a wait, but IT'S WORTH IT! The biscuits are incredible, the Shoo Mercy Pancake is stupendous, and don't miss out on the Fried Chicken on Wednesdays and Sundays! BEST FRIED CHICKEN EVER! Service is super friendly, and the management is awesome! John and Heather are great! New favorite spot in Sandy Springs!
Limited menu but most of the food I have tried has been good. I've been several times and the shrimp and grits are awesome! The pork chops are NOT. Service was average. If the waitress had come to our table more on one visit, she would have noticed that I barely touched my pork chops and perhaps could have suggested something else. Overall - definitely worth a try!
Tupelo Honey Cafe is one of the best places to eat in Asheville. Be prepared to wait, but trust me its worth the wait. Grab some coffee and get ready to eat good eats!
If you must go to this restaurant, go to the downtown restaurant not the South. We had the worse service and meal ever. They were out of biscuits and were very rude about it. The food is not as good in the South Restaurant, and fair downtown. Dont waste your time or money. Too many great restaurants to choose from in Asheville. Go to Early Girl. Great staff, great healthy food. Right around the corner.

I gave Tupelo Honey five stars this same time last year and I'm doing it again. Our family was able to get a reservation on Christmas Eve day. As usual, the food was outstanding, as well as the service. They have their act together!
