My husband and I had went to get our truck emissions done for registration renewal. As usual Ryan and his team were quick and efficient. So we get back into the truck to get on our way and the truck wouldn't start. Our battery was dead. It was very old and probably should have been replaced long before that. Ryan and his crew at Sandy Tunex saved our bacon again. We were getting ready to take a small over night trip out of town. I checked my oil and saw it was very low. I called Ryan and he was able to fit me in to do an oil change before he closed. They discovered that the previous place that changed the oil hadn't tightened the oil filter. All the oil was leaking out. I trust these guys!
The owner Ryan went above and beyond for me and I wasn't even a paying customer. My Toyota Tundra has both the upper and lower ball joint break resulting in a major repair. Ryan verified part of the area broken was a recall part and called the Toyota dealership on my behalf to arrange the repair for me. Once my truck was at the dealership they provided a $1500.00 estimate for my repairs. Ranon (Ryan), the owner, is an awesome guy. It is hard to find a mechanic you trust, come here and you will find them. I travel from south Jordan past plenty of mechanics just to come here.
Ryan and his crew are AMAZING! After being plagued with car troubles for years and having to find different mechanics for the same issues, I found Ryan at the Sandy Tunex and have spent less money, experienced better, more honest service, and issues are solved the first time. Highly recommended!

If you are looking for a shop with honest mechanics that won't rip you off Tunex in Sandy is the place to take your car. It can be overwhelming for women to bring their car into a shop to be fixed. I've had issues at Midas, PepBoys, and Jiffy lube with condensing techs trying to tell me I needed repairs that I didn't need. Luckily I know my way around a car enough to catch them in their lies.
