This place is a GEM! I ran in at closing on a Sunday evening when things were put away—looking for ahi. I was met with the kindest woman who was more than happy to get me exactly what I wanted. Furthermore, this was the BEST ahi I’ve bought from a fish shop. An incredible shop with immaculate vibes + products.
Really good! It's not convenient for me and this was my first time going there. The fishmonger was very helpful with portion size which were perfect. They packed it with a little ice for me to get home with, take a cooler, and the local halibut and bluefin were very fresh and fantastic. I wish they would have a store in north San doego County.
This is one of the best places in San Diego to get fresh and smoked fish, seafood, salads and a whole lot more. They try hard to support local fishermen. When you visit, make sure to say Hi to Sunny and Tommy, The Fishmonger. Ask him for his autograph. He loves that!!!
