They will lie through their teeth! They Buy PUPPIES FROM PUPPY MILLS. The breeding parents suffer forever n puppies are raised in terrible conditions. THINK!

Business response:

Paula, I appreciate you reaching out but I have to make it clear that this is not even remotely true. We do not buy from puppy mills, nor associate with them in any way. We only maintain partnerships with certified, licensed breeders who make it their life's work to raise happy, healthy puppies who will go on to be members of caring families all over the state. Our facilities have passed inspection from Nebraska state regulators time and time again. We have no other mission than to care for our dogs as if they were our own u... read more

We bought a German shepherd from there almost a year ago. I had never heard of Tully's before and when I walked in I was horrified. The only reason we bought the puppy was because the puppy was clinging to my husband when we would try to leave. The puppies are all in small cages and the bottom of the cages are wire too 😢. We took the puppy to the vet and he was underweight and had worms. It saddens me that we caved to the guilt of buying the puppy but part of me knew he had to get out of that environment. I will never go ba... read more

Business response:

I'm sorry to hear your puppy had issues, Riley, and I'm glad you let me know about it so I can keep this in mind. I'm sure during your "free 10 day vet care" the veterinarian told you worms are a common problem because they are passed from the mother. You purchased your pup on the first available day so it was still adjusting to our environment. Having been almost a year, though, I'm not sure what I can do here to follow up. As for the gridded floor cages we use, they are commonly used for young puppies who haven't yet been ... read more

Business response:

While I'm not exactly sure what happened here, Clint, I'm really disappointed to see you didn't get the best from us the other day. This isn't indicative of our standard in the least, and I hope we'll have another chance to prove that someday. -Tom Westman, Operations Manager

Tully' should be put out of Business they sale puppies for a profit regardless of the help of the animal. The City's of Omaha should step up and close there doors. Tull y'all kennel does not care about the health of the pets they sale. Tully's kennel will sale you a pet and tell the pet was cleared by a veterinarian the when you find something wrong with your pet Tilly's will have another story. Bad Business and not Family pet friendly

Business response:

Jeffery, as I have mentioned to Karen, the term "puppy mill" has no real or consistent definition in our industry. It has built up a negative connotation that lumps all commercial breeders into the "abuse" category, which is disheartening coming from a person that has dedicated decades caring for puppies and finding them the perfect home. The concern of these Animal Rights groups is that some breeders have more dogs than others. However, just because a breeder has a lot of dogs does not mean they are a bad operator or they m... read more

99% of pet store puppies come from mills. Nebraska, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas have LOTS of mills and lots of puppies. NO RESPONSIBLE BREEDER WILL SELL TO A PET STORE OR BROKER. Many puppy mills are legal USDA commercial dog breeding facilities with hundreds of dogs. They have AKC registration. The parent dogs stay in their cages 24/7 until they are done breeding (ages 6-8) and dumped off at an auction or killed. Minimal or no vet care and no time outside of cage. The requirements the USDA has set forth are minimal and horrible.... read more
