Business response:
Linda, it's a shame to see this. If you can provide any concrete details about a personal customer experience with us, I'd be happy to address it. -Tom Westman, Operations Manager
My dog Ditto had a stroke at Tully's and they didn't tell me. I left with her unable to walk without falling over. I immediately turn around and took her back in to them and they lied about her being fine until we left, didn't offer to call the vet like they should have when she obviously had the stroke earlier in their care. I took her to my best friend our vet and she never recovered her balance and couldn't walk without falling over and we finally had to put her to sleep. I would never recommend this terrible business for... read more

Went there this afternoon and saw a puppy in a cage with 5 others and he was shaking was covered in feces, and two others in the same cage were shaking
Business response:
Michelle, while I understand your concern, I assure you the most comforting thing for a puppy is to be near their littermates. What you say does not make sense. I walk through there on a daily basis and have never seen a puppy covered in feces. If that was the case, no one would want to hold them let alone buy them. They are given more than enough space in the cages, during the brief time they spend in there, and are extremely well cared for by our staff. If you have any questions regarding our practices, I'm more than happy... read more
The puppies are kept in crowded tiny cages and are sold for outrageous prices. I've gone once and I would only go back to give these puppies time out of the cages. It's disgusting that they have to sit on metal cage floors all day long just because it makes for easier clean up. This place gets puppies from puppy mills and that's why everyone buys puppies that turn out to be sick. Disgusting and unethical. Please just close your business. There's enough dogs that need to be adopted. Stop supporting puppy mills!!
Business response:
Delaney, it's disappointing you feel this way about our place, as anyone who visits our store knows how well-cared-for our dogs are. The grid-floor cages are commonly used for young puppies who haven't yet been housebroken. It's more hygienic, as it allows for easier cleanup in the event of accidents. These are puppies, after all, so these little mishaps are bound to happen. That said, I have to make it clear we do not buy from or associate with puppy mills in any way. The term "puppy mill" has no real or consistent definiti... read more
If you want to buy PUPPY MILL puppies as their parents die in cages that they've lived in their whole lives, GO AHEAD AND BUY A SICK, INBRED PUPPY HERE. Boycott this disgusting place and they will get shut down! We cannot stand by and watch these puppies suffer anymore! Stand up for animals! Stand up for the voiceless. One of the idiots who worked there told me once a few years ago that the "Australian Shepherd Purebreds" they had there were not only EXTREMELY over priced but they DO NOT come with papers! No papers but it's ... read more
Business response:
Siara, I appreciate you reaching out, but I have to make it clear that this is not even remotely true.Using the word "puppy mill" is like using a racial slur. No one knows what it really means but we all know that its bad. We only maintain partnerships with certified, licensed breeders who make it their life's work to raise happy, healthy puppies who will go on to be members of caring families all over the state. While I'm not sure where you got this impression, the puppies and their mothers are well cared for and are in no ... read more
Why are your dogs treated so poorly? Kept in cages without a blanket even?? I wish someone would buy all of those dogs just so they could be treated right!
Business response:
Melissa, I appreciate your concern, but I can assure you that the puppies are not in any discomfort during the time they spend in these cages. It is insulting that you feel we are not treating our puppies right. There are reasons for everything we do. For instance: If we gave them a blanket it would get soiled quickly. Since many common puppy diseases are communicated in feces, you can see how this would lead to problems. The most comforting thing a puppy can feel is its litter mate. That is why we keep litter mates together... read more
