With two or three exceptions, their employees were not good. The whole company is terrible. They would not provide the services ordered for my husband and were completely uncaring and unconcerned about it. Rather than find a solution, they simply dismissed my concerns. I had to find my own solution and it cost me thousands of dollars to do so. Therapy "visits" were much shorter than they were supposed to be. My wife has had Amedisys Home Health physical and occupational therapies since her accident. The quality of the therapists is top notch. They are highly skilled and genuinely care. They have also taught me how to help her recover in between their visits. I recommend Amedisys Home Health if you or your loved one needs medical help recovering at home.
Would not recommend for wound care for elderly. Instructions were to NOT change dressing until they returned. One week later! Irregular schedule with a 15 minute notice. Wound significantly worse, now visiting a Wound Care Center for professional care.
