I had a DXA axial scan today at the Tufts Radiology department. The nurse was nice, friendly, and very professional. She explained the procedure very well. The waiting room is clean and quiet, with a waiting time of about 15 minutes
The sheer lack of communication and hospitality in a medical office is truly mind boggling. I’ve had 4 procedures canceled and rescheduled without ever being told, and then when I try to get my original appointment back, they say “Well it was moved so obviously you can’t go back. The spot’s taken.” I’m a receptionist so I know it’s basic knowledge to at least ASK to move an appointment. Came in for an ultrasound and had a great experience. The individual who conducted the test on me was super kind and thorough and made me feel calm; the desk staff was also very nice to me. Additionally, I showed up almost 45 minutes early and to my surprise they were able to see me early *and* get me done before my Original start time. Very grateful for the care I received there from the ultrasound staff on the 4th floor!
