My husband had spinal fusion surgery at Tufts Medical on August 29. From his check in to the hospital through the ER, to the moment he was released and the orderly brought him to the sidewalk out front and helped him get in to my car, the hospital staff could not have been more kind! Everyone was wonderful and so concerned that he was comfortable, and that I was reassured. The nursing staff on his floor was superb! No transgender care. Entire medical staff is incompetent toward transgender patients from beginning to end.
Takes 2 months to get an urgent appointment or follow up. Serious matters take years to resolve or just blow up in the meantime.
