WORST APARTMENT I HAVE EVER SEEN! I've been living here for ~8 months. I'm fine for the rent, the extra charge for the Internet and cable ($150 per month and it's mandatory.) However, the service in their leasing office is so BAD! During summer, the leasing office will choose to ignore the existing residents requests because they need to review new applicants. The apartments at The Merridian are well built. The location is great. But the management of this property are by far the most rude, ignorant and belittling people I've ever met. Minus Katie, she was great. The other individuals in the office were down right above me, and we're telling me things about myself I didn't even know. I applied to live there, they only take your prepared 1040, anyone who knows anything knows that you want to make the end amount on your 1040 as little as possible. I would not even tell my worst enemy to move into this apartment complex. The rent is incredibly overpriced for what it is - you might as well go to Tribeca or Grandview Yard where at least you'll get actual granite countertops and hardwood floors for the price you pay (at the Meridian, you'll get counters that are spray painted to look like granite, and fake wood-looking linoleum - classy, right?). Don't let the outside fool you. Very dissatisfied with the noise of neighbors which the mgt does NOT address.
DO NOT LIVE HERE OR EVEN APPLY! The Meridian and the Connor Group is the worst establishment with whom I have ever had the displeasure of doing business. I and one of my two roommates found a 3 bedroom apartment and officially signed paperwork, paid the $399 administration fee and $50 per person application fee on June 21, 2012. The following day, our third roommate visited to tour the complex, fill out her paperwork, and paid her $50 fee. We were set to move into 2764 Aschinger Blvd on September 28, 2012. As a tenant, I would not recommend living here. The facilities are nice and it is hard to beat the location, but it is fairly pricey, there is very little visitor parking and most of all, the incompetence of the front office staff is nothing short of astounding. I had not even moved in before I started having problems. I was called by the front office the day before I moved in to confirm that I could pick up the keys any time after the office opened. Terrific Maintenance Service – I can't begin to say enough about the maintenance service at Tucson Rental Homes. They acknowledge requests immediately and the issue is taken care of so fast it is almost like you have the only home they service. I have lived here for 4 years and have never been disappointed, dissatisfied, or had to wait for service or repairs to be done.
