This is Tucson's main venue for the performing arts, home of the Tucson Symphony Orchestra and the Arizona Opera, as well as the locale for pop music concerts, sports events and major trade conventions. the convention center was great! however the security Nazi lady in section 201, was seriously out of control! she made our area super uncomfortable... it was difficult to focus on the show!

The seats are incredibly small. My wife and I are very average size and both of us were uncomfortable for the whole Elton John concert. When I pay prices like that I expect a decent sized seat. The large ramp way that leads up to the convention center has absolutely no lighting or hand rails. I would think those would be a minimum standard for safety of the patrons. The sound system left a lot to be desired. The concession prices are a joke $3.50 for a bottle of water. I doubt we will ever be back. I wonder just how informed... read more
