Tuckaway in Shawnee gives a renter a lot of square footage for the price (our 2 bed, 2 bath is 1,050 sf), management are easy to work with and honest about availability as we figured out a move in date. Our maintenance requests are handled very promptly. The landscaping, pool and gym amenities are very nice and constantly maintained/cleaned/updated. We’ve enjoyed living here for a year as we transitioned from Missouri and took our time house hunting.
Tuckaway is a hidden a gem. My husband and I have been living here for 6 months and we LOVE it. We have a 2 bed, 2 bath on the second floor. There is so much natural lighting and open space. I love how the kitchen is open to the rest of the apartment. There is so much counter space and so much storage. All of the closets are so big. There is crown molding and tall ceilings. I paid to HOLD an apt for $400. Got approved for KERA which enabled me to move, and the dumb blonde working the desk cashed my check as soon as she could even though I wasn’t allowed to move and I gave her 2 months notice. AND SHE WAS VERY RUDE OVER EMAIL. I didn’t sign a lease or anything. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Love this place ever since we moved in staff is really nice and very fast. Our fridge wasn’t working and they were quick with getting us a new fridge. Really appreciate it. I will be staying here for longer. It’s a very nice neighborhood. Would 100% recommend!!
