Wonderful food and service!!!!! This place is absolutely fantastic! I can't believe I was making the trip all the way to Olive Garden for worse food! The restaurant has a great atmosphere to it. It's nice and cozy and has great decor through out. The wine selection is great. My wife chose a great Muscato and I had a glass of their house red wine, Fortissimo. One of my favorite restaurants ANYWHERE Everytime I eat here I make plans to come back before I leave. Wife loves the food and this is the only place she will have a drink... Italian in Bourbonnais, Make the Drive to Olive Garden I have dined at Tuccis on two occasions and been disappointed both times. I guess I was expecting decent Italian food and an enjoyable atmosphere. I received neither. Lets start with the food, they have copied the whole Olive Garden Salad and Breadsticks idea, the problem is their breadsticks have no flavor and the salad is not fresh. Good food, bad service! I ordered the fettuccine alfredo and really enjoyed it! I even liked it more than Olive Gardens. However, the waitress was rude and pushy and was never seen. When my friends mountian dew was gone she filled it up once with water and never returned. We had to ask the busboy for refills! When the check came we paid the bill and tip in cash. Ick... I ordered take out tonight being in town for work at staying at a nearby hotel. Ordered the half alfredo/half red sauce (they call it pink sauce)... it literally tasted like high school cafeteria food, it was so unappealing. The Caesar salad tasted like mayonnaise with some parmesan cheese tossed in it. I barely touched it. The breadsticks were good, that much I will give them. Not authentic italian in the least.
Good food and service!!! We recently went to Tucci's for my mother's birthday and I must say that we had great food and wonderful service by Jennifer. She went out of her way to make sure everything was great and the food turned out wonderfully. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone I know.
