Their ice cream on a cinnamon waffle cone is amazing. Tubby's has the best lobster roll I have ever had.
I've been coming to Wayne, Maine for years. Without a doubt, your lobster rolls are the best. I do have one bone to pick with you though. A $2 surcharge has been implemented for each lobster roll due to a "shortage" in supply. According to the Kennebec Journal, dated 8/1915, "Maine fisherman have landed more than 100 million pounds of lobster for four years in a row, by far the highest four year haul in the state's history." Why the surcharge then???
Excellent Walnut and strawberry ice cream.
I am so disappointed to see Tubby's is permanently closed... It was at the top of my list of favorite restaurants for their food and ice cream. Lemon and key lime ice creams were my absolute faves!
Of course Tubbys is the best place in town !!!!
