Great
We got an excellent steer tenderloin for our Xmas dinner. I’d give a 5 star for that. Last week we bought a rump roast and it was the worst roast we’ve ever had from anywhere. After cooking it in the crockpot for 8 hours, it was still so tough that we could barely cut it and definitely couldn’t chew. I have always been able to crockpot a tough roast and make it tender. We called to complain and were told that “you get what you get, it all depends on the cow” we were also told that it’s not “grade meat”. Buyer beware!
TTJ Packing is great. We've lived in Cottage Grove without knowing about them in what seems like forever. The stew meat is great. The ground beef is great as are the roasts. We just bought a brisket from them. I've never had a bad experience or less than excellent meat from them.
