Everything was a bit lukewarm/cold and there was a really bad gasoline stench through out the restaurant.
As someone who’s been to nearly every Tsujita in the U.S. — from Sawtelle to San Gabriel to New Jersey — and even three locations in Tokyo, I was beyond excited when I heard one was opening just 10 minutes from my childhood home in San Jose. The tonkotsu broth was rich and flavorful without being overly greasy. No MSG added either. The noodles were thin and perfectly cooked. The chashu, wood ear ... read more
