This was a very nice stay!! The place is clean and the customer service is wonderful. I like the fact that they have an app called downtowner and you get free rides coming and going all night. Riverwalk was pretty decent but marketplace was the best!!!! I would recommend this place if close to everything and for the price of this day is perfect I definitely will be coming back for sure
So I booked a room for the night at this location. When I got there the hotel was very nice! Once we settled in for the night I was awakened at 3AM by skin irritation, which I thought was a mosquito. I was wrong. They have bedbugs, I then requested a new room I was accommodated for. Later on the same morning, I asked for an onsite manager. Nobody showed up after me requesting 3 times. Nice location. Parking is bad. Concierge and Wyndham do not communicate or honor late checkout policies
Just checked in and so far so good. However, I was told that this is ow season (last week of August 2026) I'm here during the middle of the week and it's very slow. So much so that the restaurant & bar at the hotel are not open until Thursday, so just beware of that. Depending on the time of the year that you come check for that if that's what you're interested in.
The location is convenient, but unfortunately the hotel room itself was disappointing. The bed creaked loudly with even the slightest movement, and it kept me from getting a good night's sleep. (see the video.) Based on my experience, this did not feel like a 4-star hotel; I would rate the overall quality closer to 2.5 stars. Good location, but the room and facilities could definitely use improvement.
