Presumably by the physician's nurse due to being "over halfway point of grace period ". What in the world are you talking about? Grace period is 15 minutes, so they arbitrarily decline it despite conforming to the policy? I visited Tryon Medical Partners for what was supposed to be a simple preventative annual checkup—just a routine blood test. I made it very clear multiple times, both when scheduling and during the visit, that I wanted only the standard annual exam covered by insurance. When scheduling, they told me the doctors were fully booked but a PA was available. I agreed, since it was just a basic annual checkup and nothing more.
