I can’t say enough about TruVet. We were visiting from out of town and my 5lb Blueberry Yorkie bundle of fluff, decided to swan dive out of my moms arms from about 4ft high onto carpeted floor, my mom tried to catch her but she fell and injured herself and wouldn’t stand on her back right leg. She never whimpered or cried at all. We immediately took her to an emergency vet in RP they told me she was stable and it would be 3+ hours til they could see her. All of the vets and vet assistants were incredibly nice and thorough regarding Millie's care. Unfortunately, we have had three recent visits (one pet died, one had an accident and required surgery, and this recent trip-due to bloody stool). Each visit was met with understanding staff. Thank you TruVet employees all around. Overnight male nurse was compassionate and caring towards Millie. What I appreciated most is the kind and caring staff.

I brought my pug in around 9pm after I found he was not opening his eye. They immediately took him back to be seen while I finished checking in. The front desk person was great, she checked in with me to give me updates while I was there and was really kind. They found he had a small ulcer on his eye and gave me eye drops to use. By the next day his eye was so much better already. Day 3, his eye is completely clear again!

Duchess, my 12.5 year old Giant Schnauzer has laryngeal paralysis which is an incurable neurological disease with several awful manifestations. It's progressed to the point where excitement can cause respiratory distress. Recently we needed to see her internist at TruVet in Petaluma. Dr. Kruger was out of town. The care my dog received at TruVet in Petaluma was thorough and very good! Everyone was great. It was my 1st time here and feel confident that if my dog needs emergency care again she will receive great care. What I appreciated most is the ability to be put on a waiting list and come back since it was a 1-2 hour wait. Also the vet was wonderful so it's both things!
