When depositing money, the teller really hyped up how you could get a higher interest rate in a money market account. She was very specific that $1000 minimum balance was all that was needed. The paperwork to open the account said $1000 minimum balance was all that was needed. I opened an account. Two months later they changed the minimum balance to $5000 with no notice and started withdrawing $10 per month from my account.
