Just took my parents here last night for my mom’s birthday. The atmosphere was great, the service was great, the food was great! They even gave us one of the large booths I requested even though we only had a party of 3, which I really appreciated. I considered giving this a 4 star review because when I spoke to someone over the phone I was told there would be some sort of special desert for my mom’s birthday but it never came. We had a delicious meal at Truss. We shared the octopus appetizer and it was probably the best octopus I’d ever had. The peach salad was good and we enjoyed the cauliflower entree. I was pleased to see so many options on the menu without dairy. We will definitely be back.
So glad we have found this place. We always build in a dinner here when we are in Lynchburg!
I really want to keep this gem of a restaurant to myself so it won't get too busy... had a WONDERFUL brunch with my family! Atmosphere fantastic, food fantastic,waitress awesome! I can't remember her name, but pretty brunette with tats. Wish I had taken picture of food.
Mark, our server was absolutely amazing and very personable. Crab cakes and mussels to start. 10/10. Lump crab in the cakes with a yummy sauce and the broth for the mussels was super flavorful and dipping the fresh bread in, wow. Hanger steak was delicious for the main as well as the confit duck. French 75 was perfect. Wonderful staff and atmosphere. Will return and ask for mark!
