I saw Dr. Akella the other day. Very friendly, professional and explained everything throughly. Excellent doctor.
Dr Akella recently treated my daughter at West Allis and even though OB/GYN pushed back stating her diagnosis could not be what Dr Akella was stating (since they have never seen someone at 16 wks pregnancy diagnosed with ICP)she did not waiver and pushed both the hospitalist and OB to trust her instinct and she was right all along. Her bed side manner and personal ability are unmatched and she has earned our families loyalty and we will only see her for Gastroenterology needs. Fantastic Doctor and person!!
